Band long enough to be wrapped once or twice around the waist, perfect for giving shape to a Viking dress, coat or tunic. It can be also cut into suitable pieces and sewn on as a decorative border around neckline, hem or cuffs.
Its pattern is based on an archeological find dated to 834 AD. The finding place is Oseberg in the south-east part of Norway. The band was a part of grave goods in a ship burial, one of the richest ever found.
